Finally get your hands on that university degree (or almost there)? And do you enjoy complex financial issues? Our finance traineeship could be the start of an exciting career in the financial world.

More about the traineeship

Finance is a wide and dynamic discipline. As a finance degree apprentice, you can have endless possibilities. You will start working at a bank or insurance company in a department that matches your wishes and talents. Think of an accounting, reporting, control, data, or ALM department (Asset & Liability Management). From analysing complex financial data to optimising reports and giving advice based on them, finance never gets boring! The exact structure of your finance traineeship depends on the job you aspire to.

Can you picture yourself in one of these positions?

  • Business Analyst;
  • Data Analyst;
  • Financial/business controller;
  • Reporting/Business Intelligence (BI)-specialist;
  • Accounting specialist.

This is you:

  • You’re communicatively strong, work well in a team, and aren’t afraid to take the lead.
  • You’re eager to learn and driven to get the best out of yourself.
  • You (almost) have a university degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration or Economics.
  • Residing in the Netherlands.

A bright future in finance

During your finance traineeship, you immediately start working at a prominent bank or insurance company. Such as ING, Tikkie and Nationale Nederlanden. Which one? It all depends on your field of study, competencies, and, of course, your wishes and ambitions.

Curious about the experiences of other young professionals? Read the story of Alexander, financial analyst at ABN AMRO.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working on a wide range of projects. After two years, the goal is for your finance apprenticeship to come to an end, and for you to be employed by the company.

Would you rather take a look behind the scenes at several companies? Then our 3-year finance consultant program might be something for you!

Not your average employer

During your traineeship, you’re employed by Solid Professionals. And let us tell you, we’re not your average employer. We are convinced organisations are built by the people who work for them, which leads us to believe that we need to help our employees achieve their full potential.
